Our church was launched March 4, 2001. Russ Moyer, a traveling Prophet began holding meeting in town at the request of local people touched in his meetings in Toronto. Many families and individuals were touched in those meetings. We heard from the Lord through dreams and prophetic words that God wanted to plant a church in Aurora. It was confirmed over and over. One such confirmation came on a ministry trip to Vineland, New Jersey. A brother stood and answered questions we were asking but had told no one. Since our formation people have travelled from Stratford, Toronto, Orillia, Victoria Harbour, Barrie, Innisfill, Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa, Port Hope, Sutton, Kleinburg, Stouffville, Washago, Sutton, Hamilton, Keswick, Copetown, Brantford, Mississauga, Oakville, Markham, Port Perry, Green Bank, St Catharine's and more. People locally Aurora, Newmarket and Bradford regularly attend. Signs, wonders and miracles continue to confirm the preaching of the Word. We began holding service Sunday evenings at Park Place Manor. Many people who initially came had experienced the loss of a loved one through tragic accidents and sickness. God began to bring hope and healing to these wonderful hurting people. In the late winter of 2004, Pastor John Irving was awoken by a dream urging him to immediately move locations of the church. Two weeks later Sars broke out in the Toronto area. Resulting in the restriction of access, for a short period of time, of all area senior’s residence, including Park Place Manor. However, the church had heeded God’s word and had already moved to Howard Johnson’s Hotel in Aurora. Here they continued to be blessed. The management and staff of Howard Johnston’s were very gracious and helpful. Our stay there was truly a blessing. Finally in December 2004, the Lord again began to stir in us. Finances came in unexpectedly for a down payment on a building. Then suddenly a property we had prayed about earlier became available. We closed the deal on the last day of 2004. We began renovations in April of 2005, (check out our pictures of the renovations). We moved in to our current sanctuary in June of 2005. We have been blessed here with continued moves of revival fires. We have a heart to see broken people made whole. We continue to do what our Anniversary date proclaims: “March forth”.
